About the HSEM Team

Curtin University’s team of health and safety and emergency professionals provides advice and assistance in the implementation of the University’s health, safety and emergency system.

We work in collaboration with Curtin’s staff, students, contractors and visitors to provide services of the highest standard in line with legislative requirements to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all.

October is National Safe Work Month – a time to commit to building a safe and healthy workplace. In recognition of National Safe Work month, Health, Safety and Emergency Management is running the annual CU Safe Expo on Wednesday 11 October 2017, 11am to 2pm at Lower Henderson Court.

Staff and students are welcome to attend and relax in the Wellness hub, view displays and take part in games. There will be giveaways and the opportunity to win lots of prizes!
