Health, Safety and Emergency Management

New Emergency WA website launched - Stay up to date with Emergency warnings and incidents in Western Australia.

The Emergency WA website delivers a live feed map of emergency incidents reported to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES).

With the upcoming summer season approaching, Total Fire Bans may be declared by DFES to prohibit the lighting of any fires in the open air and any other activities that may start a fire. The DFES Total Fire Ban Fact Sheet contains useful information on Total Fire Bans.
