Please report all injuries/illnesses, near misses and hazards via CHARM

Staff log in to the Staff Portal, click on the arrow on the application wheel and select CHARM.
Students log in to Student OASIS, click on the My Campus tab and click on the CHARM link

Safe Work Month

October was safe work month with the theme being "think physical, think psychological" and is a reminder that the Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws psychological is as important as physical.

Health and Safety conducted a a couple of events during the month;

These sessions were facilited by Benny Button and are on the science of wellbeing and performance to make it easier for people, leaders and organisations to integrate wellbeing into the flow of work and life.

The Work Health and Safety Act and accompanying regulations came into effect on 31 March 2022.


About the Health and Safety Team

Curtin University’s team of health and safety and emergency professionals provides advice and assistance in the implementation of the University’s health, safety and emergency system.

We work in collaboration with Curtin’s workers, students and visitors to provide services of the highest standard in line with legislative requirements to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all.

Health and Safety requests are now available to be submitted via the Health and Safety - General Enquiry Form on the Self Service Hub.
