Nanotechnology Online Module

Objectives:

By the end of this module, you should be able to:
• Identify different types of nanomaterials
• Identify general controls in relation to nanotechnology use
• Understand the routes of exposure and known health effects
• Demonstrate effective spills management and waste disposal

Content Outline:

Online module and quiz

The module should take about 30 minutes to complete.

At the end of the module you will need to complete a short 10 question quiz. To pass the assessment you will need to achieve a mark of 80%.

Who Should Attend:

All staff and university associates who work with nanoparticles

Registration

To register for training please log into OASIS

  • Access iPerform via the 'My Work' tab
  • Click 'Browse for Training' or search for "Nanotechnology" from the search box on the top right hand corner of the screen
  • Locate your course from the list
  • Click 'request'
  • Once registered, you will be returned to 'My Training' where you can launch the module the begin the training.
