Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals – Online Module

Objectives:

By the end of this module, you should be able to:
• Outline the type of information found on chemical labels and in SDSs
• Discuss the regulations surrounding chemical classification
• Identify hazard communication pictograms and statements on labels and SDSs
• Identify the purpose and location of the SDS Register and SDS Manifest
• Outline your responsibilities when using hazardous chemicals

Online module and quiz

The module should take about 20 minutes to complete.

At the end of the module you will need to complete a short 10 question quiz. To pass the assessment you will need to achieve a mark of 80%.

All staff and university associates who work with chemicals.
